Facebook post comments: every comment with author, reactions and reply count
The Facebook Post Comments Scraper returns the comments of public posts — in Facebook's own orders (most relevant, newest, all) — with the author (name, id, URL, verification, picture — or a code), the text with tagged accounts, exact time, depth, reply count, reactions in total and by kind and attachments, plus the post itself as a row with its counts. Works on posts, videos and reels. No login, no cookies, no account; only-new mode for recurring runs.
Who it's for
- Community and brand teams reading everything a post's audience said, not just the top comments.
- Sentiment analysts gauging reaction to an announcement across all comments.
- Researchers who need privacy-safe exports with author codes instead of names.
- Monitoring pipelines collecting only-new comments as they arrive.

Honest limits
- Fewer comments than the post's count — the count includes replies and comments Facebook hides from a visitor;
order: allgets every one a visitor can see. - Replies are counted, not delivered yet — this version returns the comments under the post (depth 0); reply texts are planned.
- A video post sometimes needs retries — a video's page occasionally comes without data (one in four, measured); the Actor retries up to three times before a status row.
- A personal-profile/group post, a signed-in-only post, or one with commenting off gets a free status row.
Pricing
Pay per result: a comment event per delivered comment row and a post event per delivered post row. No start fee, nothing for a status row, nothing for a comment the filter left out, nothing for a post that could not be read. Current prices are on the actor's Pricing tab on Apify.
Read a whole comment section: every comment with author, reactions by kind and reply count — privacy-safe on request. Exportable to JSON, CSV or Excel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get every comment?
Yes — unlike the Page Posts Scraper's top comments, this pages through all of them in Facebook's own order: relevant, newest or all, ten a call.
Does it work on videos and reels?
Yes — give a video or reel URL; the post row is read from the video's page and the comments page the same way. A reel is opened through /watch/?v=.
Are replies included?
Replies are counted on each comment (replyCount); this version delivers the comments under the post (depth 0). Reply texts are planned.
Can I hide commenter names?
Yes — hideAuthors returns a stable code instead of the name, id, URL and picture; a shared authorCodeKey gives the same person the same code across runs.
Why are there fewer comments than the post's count?
The post's count includes replies and comments Facebook hides from a visitor; order: all gets every one a signed-out visitor can see.
Using the data lawfully
It reads only what Facebook shows a signed-out visitor. Comments carry the names of people who wrote them publicly; personal data is protected by the GDPR and similar laws, so only collect and process it with a legitimate basis — or turn on hideAuthors. The Actor does not log in, use anyone's account or cookies, or solve CAPTCHAs. Not affiliated with Meta.
