Instagram reels by profile: plays, likes, comments and a performance score

The Instagram Reels Scraper returns the reels of a profile's Reels tab, one row per reel: plays, likes, comment count, an approximate time, the cover image, and how the reel did against what's usual for that profile (playsVsProfileMedian). The plays are the real tab tile figure, not the embed page's lower "views". On request it reads each reel by itself for caption, exact time, duration, music, video address, co-authors and topics. No login, no cookies, no account.

Every row has 34 columns; without details the detail columns are null (lists too, so "not read" is not mistaken for "none"). Measured on the platform: 500 reels in 15 seconds; 60 with details in 28 seconds; a restarted run delivered no reel twice.

Pricing

Pay per result: a reel event (from the reels list) or reel-detailed (when Instagram answered the per-reel details request with at least its exact time). A reel asked with details that came without them carries reel. Status rows are free. Current prices are on the actor's Pricing tab on Apify.

Rank a profile's reels by plays: the real tab play figure, likes, comments and a score against the profile's median. Exportable to JSON, CSV or Excel.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an Instagram login or cookies?

No — only what a signed-out visitor sees; figures can differ from the app. No login, no cookies, nothing from your own account.

Is playCount the same as views?

No — it is the Reels tab tile's play figure, which ran 2.4 to 7.7 times the embed page's views in our measurements. The Actor uses the tab play figure, not the lower embed view count.

What is the performance score?

playsVsProfileMedian = the reel's plays ÷ the profile's first-page median plays, so you can see at a glance which reels over-performed the account's usual.

Can I get captions and music?

Yes — turn on includeDetails (one more request per reel) for caption, exact time, duration, music, co-authors, tagged users, topics and the video address.

What can't it do?

Reels only — no photo posts or carousels, no comment texts (count only), no shares, saves or transcripts; nothing behind the login. A hidden like count is null while plays and comments still come.
