G2 software reviews by product: ratings, full text, authors and dates

The G2 Reviews Scraper extracts software reviews from G2 by product — the star rating, review title, the full review text, the author and publish dates, plus the product's aggregate rating and total review count. Give it a product URL or slug (e.g. asana) and get clean JSON, paying only per review returned. G2 is anti-bot protected; the Actor handles access through an unblocking proxy — no cookies, logins or tokens from you.

Pricing

Pay per review returned; a typical product page yields ~10 reviews, and error and summary rows are free. A scheduled run that finds no new reviews costs nothing for reviews. Current prices are on the actor's Pricing tab on Apify.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a G2 login, cookies or API key?

No. You supply only a product URL or slug. There is no G2 login, cookie or API key to provide; the Actor handles the anti-bot access for you through Apify's unblocking proxy.

How many reviews can I get for a product?

Up to a product's full public review history. Set maxReviews to 0 for everything, or a smaller number to cap the run. You are billed only per review actually returned (about 10 per page).

Can I get only new reviews since my last run?

Yes. Set minDatePublished to a date; the Actor reads newest-first and stops at older reviews — ideal for a scheduled run that collects just the new reviews of your product or a competitor's.

What does each review row contain?

The star rating, the review title and full text, the author and publish date, plus the product's aggregate rating and total review count — both the individual reviews and the headline numbers.

What do I enter — a URL or a slug?

Either. Give the G2 product URL or just its slug (for example asana). Pass several to collect reviews across a set of products in one run for competitive comparison.

Using the data lawfully

The Actor collects publicly available review data and does not access anything behind a login. You are responsible for using it in line with G2's Terms and applicable laws, including data-protection rules.
