Reddit post records by URL or id: refresh scores, check existence, hydrate links
The Reddit Post Details Scraper turns a list of post addresses, t3_ names or ids into full records, as Reddit shows a signed-out visitor: title, text, link, kind, score, upvote ratio, comment count, exact time, flair, media, score and comments per hour, the subreddit's size — and the author's karma and account age on request. Refresh the numbers of posts you found earlier, check which still exist, and hydrate a column of links into rows. No login, no cookies, no CAPTCHA solving.
Who it's for
- Dashboard owners re-pulling the current score and comments of posts they collected before.
- Dataset maintainers running an existence/removal audit over a list of links.
- Analysts hydrating a column of Reddit URLs from anywhere into full rows.
- Anyone who already has the links and needs the records, not discovery.

Honest limits
- A post is one page read since Reddit closed its signed-out JSON API (16 Oct 2026), so a long list takes longer than it did on the old API (six posts at a time).
- Some fields are
null: the edit time, the spoiler/locked/archived flags, the removal reason detail, a poll's votes and a crosspost's origin — Reddit's pages don't carry them to a visitor;nsfw/stickiedarrive on media posts only. - A removed post keeps its record with
removedByset and empty text; a deleted or nonexistent one is a free status row. Scores are fuzzed by Reddit by design. - A page that comes back without the post is reported as "not shown to this run", is retryable, and charges nothing — never reported as deleted.
Pricing
Pay per result: one post-details event per delivered row (the author's and subreddit's records ride along free). Status rows are free, and a run Reddit doesn't answer ends failed and charges nothing. Current prices are on the actor's Pricing tab on Apify.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Reddit account, login or API key?
No. It reads Reddit as a signed-out visitor via a guest token — no account, no cookies, no CAPTCHA solving. The token is handed to residential addresses only, so Apify Proxy residential is used by default.
How many posts can one run take?
Up to 10,000 lines. Since Reddit closed its signed-out JSON API, each post is read from its own page (six at a time), so a long list takes longer than it did on the old API.
What happens to a removed or deleted post?
A removed post keeps its record with removedBy set and its text empty; a deleted one, or a nonexistent id, gets a free status row. A page that comes back without the post is reported as "not shown to this run", is retryable, and charges nothing.
What does the author karma cost?
includeAuthorInfo adds each author's karma and cake day, one profile-page read per author, so it is off by default. The subreddit record (includeSubredditInfo) costs nothing — the subscriber count comes off the post's own page.
Are share links accepted?
No — a /s/ share link is not accepted. Use the full post URL, its t3_ name or its id.
