Reddit users as data: profile, karma, trophies and full public history
The Reddit User Scraper returns Reddit users by name, as a signed-out visitor sees them — the profile (link and comment karma, the cake day, the bio, trophies and the subreddits the user moderates) and the user's posts and comments, newest first (or top/hot/controversial), with text, score, exact time and score per hour, as far back as Reddit lists the history. Only-new mode to watch accounts. No login, no cookies, no CAPTCHA solving.
Who it's for
- Influencer and moderator researchers assessing reach and authority by karma, trophies and moderated subreddits.
- Behaviour analysts studying a user's topics and tone across their full history.
- Teams watching accounts for new activity on a schedule.
- Datasets that need a user's profile plus posts and comments in one run.

Honest limits
- History goes as far as Reddit lists it to a visitor (348 items for one account, past 1,200 for another); some accounts' histories aren't listed at all, but the profile row still comes.
- Some profile flags are
nullsince Reddit closed its signed-out JSON API (16 Oct 2026): the premium/mod/employee/verified flags, the banner and the account'st2_id; a comment of the history does not name its subreddit (its post and title are on the row). top+ a period returns nothing where the user wasn't active then — useallfor the full history.- A suspended, deleted or non-existent user gets a free status row.
Pricing
Pay per result: a profile event per delivered profile row (trophies and moderated subreddits ride along free) and an item event per delivered post or comment row. Status rows are free, and a run Reddit doesn't answer ends failed and charges nothing. Current prices are on the actor's Pricing tab on Apify.
Profile Reddit users: karma, trophies and moderated subreddits plus their full public history, with velocity. Exportable to JSON, CSV or Excel.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Reddit account, login or API key?
No — a signed-out guest token, no account, no cookies, no CAPTCHA solving. The token is handed to residential addresses only, so Apify Proxy residential is used by default.
How far back does history go?
As far as Reddit lists it to a visitor — measured, one account ended at 348 items, another went past 1,200. Some accounts' histories aren't listed at all (AutoModerator, for example); the profile row still comes.
Why did top + year return nothing for a user?
Reddit shows top or controversial of a period only where the user was active then. Use sort: all for the full history.
What is returned for a suspended or deleted user?
A free status row says so. A line that is not a user, has no such user, or is named twice also gets a free status row and is not charged.
Which profile fields are null now?
Since Reddit closed its signed-out JSON API (16 October 2026), the premium/mod/employee/verified flags, the banner and the account's t2_ id are null; karma, cake day, bio, trophies and moderated subreddits all come from the profile page in one read.
